Mike Jenkins Dad Bethan Jenkins AM writing in Western Mail yesterday, sounded somewhat as if he was regretting he had re-joined Plaid Cymru being it seems disappointed in Leanne Wood not being more in the face of the English Crown. However, how can Mike be so surprized surely it would have been obvious that Leanne is more up for 'Guardian Soundbites' than actually being as our Workers National 'Heroine' Frances Evans. Anyone with some little radical reality thinking would realise than when elected Plaid Party Leader have become restricted to the Plaid version of 'Realpolitik'.That is what we got within days of her election to lead Plaid Cymru into her 'Rainbow Republican' world of Environmentally Friendly Love, Peace and working towards another 'One Wales Coalition' with the Brit Labour Party. Of course now that the 'New Left' (ha! ha! ha!) Plaid 'green' Cymru dream has hit the buffers, all we have heard from Leanne is 'Rebuild', rebuild what? it's all over for Plaid Cymru! Far better before she is removed by the 'Hidden Hydroites', that Leanne quits whilst she is ahead and with her 'Usual Suspect' supporters establish something like the 'Republican Catalan Left' leaving behind of course all the Plant Crachach and otherwise Cultural Greens that these days appear the way of it with the Children of Y Crachach Newydd - England's Client Tribe.
Already there are 'little voices' being critical of Leanne in Caerffili and Caernarfon, I have no doubt the Plaid 'Rural Cultural Right' desperate to survive their previous screw up under Ieuan Wyn, Alun Ffred Jones and Lord Elis Thomas et al are now concerned that their 'Leanne Left Card' was not quite the trick to do it for them in the South. So what's up Doc? all silent on the Plaid Cymru 'Rainbow Republican' Front and Mike is overtly concerned that Leanne is showing signs of not quite being all she had been cut out to be by the Plaid 'New Left' Cymru and then supported into position of Plaid Cymru power by a collection of Patriots of the Cilmeri kind desperate to see Dafydd Elis Thomas get the boot. Plus a load of Leanne's 'left entryists' of the 'Anglo - Cambrian' kind, as well as camp following Enviromental Carpet Baggers that come as a 'package deal' out of being too close to CAT CORRIS and RENEWABLESUKcymru and of course the 'Ceredigion Windmill Crachia'.
Mike does not over egg the fact that at least his daughter Bethan Jenkins was up for the Republic against Royalty at the Merthyr Protest of 26 april. But one Swallow a summer does not make, so I have invited both Bethan and Leanne to come and speak at the 'Stryveland Struggle' rally on Mynydd y Betws on 9th June to12. Allowing them both opportunity to justify their spport for Tan 8 Terrorism - Windmills of Mass Destruction, I would particularly be interested in their, and other 'Anglo - Cambro New Plaid Left' publically stating their arguements that would allow the Duke of Beaufort - Somerset Trust to build 'Climate Change' Turbines on Mynydd y Gwair - Land stolen from the Welsh by the 'Tudors/Richmonds' and given out to English Aristocrats and not just on this mountan. Further, please come and inform us or rather again justify how you have the nerve to prattle on about the English Crown Estates across Cymru but at the same time via pushing of 'Greenprint Policies' encourages they too, to make money out of Windmill Plantations in at moment on at least possibly half a dozen 'On Shore' sites plus a number of 'Offshore' sites.
I think many would love to hear some clarification, so Leanne and Bethan do accept the invitations to stand on 'STRYVELAND' and justfy the 'Rape of The Fair Country' there and upon 1000's of acres of our precious countryside. Of course alternativelly come and look, then change your minds and join the People of thePitchfork and Pike against the 'New Conquistadores' - Windmill Masters who want to make of Wales - 'CORPORATE COLONY CYMRU'. Mike Jenkins is also invited to speak or recite some of his poetry too and inform us, if the setting up of some 30 odd turbines on this Mountain Plateau be more worthy of a poem or of a wonderful landscape as it soon it will not be any more, a most wonderful Landscape inheritance. SO COME BURY YOUR HEARTS ON STRYVELAND.
Roll on the republic
SIR – Like many others, I re-joined Plaid Cymru to vote for Leanne Wood in the leadership election, because of her avowed and consistently-held socialist, republican views.
I would actually like her to be more proactive in advancing the republican cause, to counter the non-stop monarchist propaganda emanating from television and newspapers.
I helped to organise the protest against the visit of Mrs Windsor to Merthyr. This protest was addressed by Bethan Jenkins AM, Bethan Williams of Cymdeithas yr Iaith and the poet and lecturer Tim Richards.
It was followed by a peaceful demonstration at Cyfarthfa Park where two men where arrested. Both have had charges dropped, though they were kept incommunicado by the police for 9 and 24 hours respectively. Police tactics were very heavy-handed throughout.
The monarchy has no place in a modern, forward-thinking Wales. It’s rightly associated with the Britain of Empire and, despite the efforts of Clarence House to give them a new image, they’re kept in luxury by the Civil List paid by our taxes.
The Crown Estate brings them millions of pounds from land, property and mineral rights. While 3,000 people die every year from hypothermia, they’ll rake in £37.5m from offshore wind farms! All their wealth, power and privilege have been inherited; the opposite to a fair and democratic society.
In Cymru, we need a president who wields no power, but acts as a representative and ambassador for our nation. That person should be elected on a fixed term and come from any class.
This would be a symbol of a just and egalitarian society, as opposed to the class-ridden and subservient one the Windsors epitomise. Mrs Windsor’s opulence (with her £50m barge!) was a stark contrast to the tragic poverty of my home town of Merthyr.

Other than that I urge all the many Welsh Republican Veriaties, is it 57 yet? to attend on 5th June 2012 the CBRD and get yourselves sorted into some kind of sensible respectable form of recognisable 'Welsh Republicanism' that will be of even greater use than Plaid 'rainbow republican' Cymru. By way, do remember, that SF had to give Irish Nationalism a knock out blow or otherwise there would have been no eventual Irish Independence nor any kind of Irish Republic. So, I suggest all you 'Up The Republic' Dublin GPO but Plaid Cymru 'Camp Followers' and 'Crachfodder' go and study some Irish Republican History or maybe just go see the film 'The Wind That Shakes The Barley'.
