Started off early from Swansea on what really was a bit of a fast track Cofiwn style field trip to some locations associated with peoples struggles with some Republican History attached. First stop Cwmwd Caio, I have done the history in a number of other blogs, in brief it was here that Gruffydd ap Rhys and Gwenllian hid out as outlaws gathering a Rebel Army together that was to luanch the War of 1136 that saved pura Wallia from Conquest and Colonisation. In the 16th Century the peasantry rose up against enclosures and made the historical call 'Trech Gwlad Nag Arglwydd' that came down the centuries to be made famouse by Keir Hardie:

From Caio passing across Mynydd Llanybydder, stopping in area of Pen Llwyn-Uchel to stand on remains of Grug y Biswal, here will be the northern end of a vast English Crown Estate Windmill Plantation. The mountain trackway you see in picture below will take you thru the site towards Bryn Llywelyn and on to Mynydd Llanfihangl Rhos-y-Corn. There same day we made a film that will be posted to blog below with information on a proposed event for the August Bank Holiday 2012.

End of Day with a Bastile Day celebration with my mate 'Red Hammer', will have to excuse him he's a bit shy but anyway an 'ugly old git' you would not like to meet on a dark night! Whatever, he agrees with me that for what passes as so called ''Welsh Republicanism'' these days is a load of 'Retro Romantic Rainbow Rubbish' and is absolutly not the kind of legacy those of WRM I, WRM II or even WRSM would want to leave and that folks is the truth of the matter, full stop - FIN! So, what you going to do about it? Something or just wait for me to keep poking you with my stick in the eye, perhaps even crack you on your thick skulls to knock some sense into your dumb Nationalists heads, might stir up your brains to think a bit more sensibly maybe?
You see if you do not do something then it is this flag below will ever rule over our land as it effectivelly done over Jubilee Week in June and since. Nothing much I guess other than the usual fb fantasies or Cymric Closet blogging etc, possibly getting all excited about Devolutionist Dilettante DET? Why doesn't such ''Republican'' Plaidwr as Cith ap Henri put a motion to the Plaid Autumn Conference to throw out all their 'English Lords' and ban members from accepting such titles or shaking hands with English Royalty and whilst at it another motion against the Windmilling of Wales and making of our Country 'COROPORATE COLONY CYMRU'. As for what do do about ''Welsh Republicanism'', accept fact that it will never arise again successfully as long as it associates with such as BC 'Garibaldies', CBR'Day Dreamers' nor Leanne's Rainbow Republicanism. What you need is some 'JACOBIN REPUBLICANISM' which Mike Jenkins and Tim Richards should be capable of ressurrecting (maybe with help of the 'Old Republicans') if only they forget the Poems and Pints and get down to some serious Political Republican History and Education. Otherwise, just wise up and join with the Great Unrest 2012 Group in working towards a Wales Socialist Republican Party.
