A WELSH REPUBLICAN REALITY OR JUST 'GREEN PLAID' POLITICAL THEATER BUT WHATEVER WAS IT A TRAP FOR THE POLITICALLY NAIVE AS EVIDENTLY LEANNE WOOD?

HHHhhmmm!!! Trap perhaps not although I have no problem in declaring as I have already done way back when this was an issue, that both CBRD 2011 and 2012 were distractions away from either organising protests at the Welsh Assembly againist the Queen's visit. Alternatively, organising a proper and purposeful Conference as a 'Sixties Style Saturday School' or maybe to discuss setting up of a Welsh Republican Congress. But not it was never very clear what CBRD would be, not until late in the day did I find out it was indeed largely an evening of Patriotic Entertainment as Poems and Pints plus some speeches. Also somehow got connected with Cymdeithas y Cymod, that was new to me?  One of the speeches which was spotted and targeted as being a bit 'off the wall' to say the least, was made by a Plaid/BC member from Merthyr Tudful Steffan ap Brien I believe? Now, lets wind the clock back. The recent 'Leanne Loosing it ' story in WM referred to her and Bethan's attendance at the 2011 event, they did not attend the 2012 event as no doubt like I it was the stupid remarks made on film I seen later on Youtube which helped to put me off the 2012 event. No doubt Leanne and Bethan too by 2012 had wised up already, possibly also aware that fellow Plaid member Jill Evans MEP being filmed at Rali Cilmeri on the Cenotapht platform with guys in 'uniforms' (the 18) and a large FWA Banner. A Rally at which 'Racist remarks' and songs were part of an unofficial singsong in Tafarn Llywelyn later in evening, reported in the media but condemned outright by Balchder Cymru Rally Organiser PLAID/BC member Russell Morris.

Why this matter of Republican Oath taking at the 2011 event should arise, is surprising as is both WM focus on BC and Leanne's unworthy attack on they. Totally uncalled for an out of place and if you ask me a back stabbing cowardly response. She has shown that she was not even prepared to discuss the matter first with ADAM BC others who attended as her political mate Cith ap Henri and Bethan's Dad Mike Jenkins and many other Plaid Cymru members in main  attending the event. She also needed to have had a discussion with David Lwarence who took her Oath (as I did a while back at Caerffili) and in particular with the event organiser Leon Machen. He I feel should have by now stepped up to make statement on what maybe seen  as somewhat bad inferences about CBRD and not leave ADAM BC to have to explain much away when he was as others simply invited to speak at the event. well Leon? Leon had made play for me to attend but I decided not to for three reasons:

1: As explained above silly remarks.

2: I am with Partisan Cymru/Great Unrest Group, we know our path towards a Socialist Republicanism and it is not via 'Nationalists Republican' CBR 'Day Dreaming'.

3: That week I was busy promoting on the street Anti - Jubilee activity, not having evenings of entertainment, what is now referred to as ''Political Theatre''. I attended the Merthyr Protest and might have attended other protests if I had not been so busy with my organisation of the Anti - Windmill Campaign, not least the Protest in Llandaf. later, I asked Leon why he and other Cardiff 'Welsh Republicans' had not been there and his feeble excuse was that protesters there were from the 'British Republicans', so what? even more reason why Welsh Republicans needed to go, YES!!!

Next time, the Queen vists WAG, i suggest protests are required organised by those who boast up their ''Welsh Republicanism''. As for any further CBRD, I suggest forget it and take my advice and suggestions made in this blog as rallying to Welsh republican associated Historical Sites, recognising 22 Februray as our Welsh Republican Day and holding a Welsh Republican Summer School Weekend in Maenclochog on 14 July or there about. So much to do, of use if you were not just going down the road of Poems and Pints and Mike Jenkin s legacy of being totally confused as what to belong to?

So. what Is Your Republican Reality swearing an oath to a hoped for Welsh Republic or Plaid 'Green' Cymru WAG Political Theatre, the former of course symbolises past Inspiration as of Iolo Morgannwg and Morgan John Rhys et al and thus a Political Aspiration to be treated seriously not as 'theatre' or rejected fearing consequence where there is not real Welsh Republican Conviction, Commitment and Courage to fight the good fight without fear or favour. Geth.

Pathetic Plaid Poodles blame the WM writer for writting this story but he's a reporter you plonkers, as for attempting to cause Nationalist disunity, I think Leanne has done that with just one word 'ABBHORRENT', why? for remembering the Abergele Martyrs and admiring true Freedom Fighters of the FWA. MAC and MEIBION GLYNDWR and not Y Crachach Newydd and Devolution Dillettantes and Greens which surround Leann's path to collaboration with colonialism?
Leanne, the  Media an Political Theater.
Plaid Cymru leader Leanne Wood has come under attack from political opponents after it emerged that last year she uttered a bizarre oath of allegiance to Welsh republicanism at a meeting in a Cardiff Bay wine bar.
The meeting was also addressed by members of a radical Welsh nationalist group who expressed extreme anti-English views.
The group – Balchder Cymru (Pride of Wales) – regards two young men who blew themselves up on the eve of the Prince of Wales’ investiture in 1969 as martyrs.
Last night Plaid Cymru issued a statement dissociating the party from the “abhorrent” views of Balchder Cymru, saying Ms Wood and saying fellow Plaid AM Bethan Jenkins had attended the meeting “in good faith”.
The event took place in Mischiefs wine bar in June last year, on the same day the Queen opened the new session of the National Assembly.
Ms Wood and Ms Jenkins boycotted the event because they are republicans.
A video of the meeting was uploaded to YouTube only last week. It shows Ms Jenkins and then Ms Wood attesting an oath to Welsh republicanism, Ms Jenkins in Welsh and Ms Wood in English.
Leanne Wood on the YouTube video
Ms Wood appears on the video saying, as she stands adjacent to a red, white and green Welsh republican flag: “We attest this flag is a symbol of Republican Wales. We will fight for the truth against the world. All nations are born of one people. All laws are born of one justice. All freedoms are born of one peace.”
She then says: “Is there peace?”, to which those present respond: “Peace”.
A member of Balchder Cymru is later seen on the 25 minute video engaging in a verbally aggressive anti-English rant during which he refers to Welsh “traitors”.
At one point he says: “There are members of the Free Wales Army in here, the workers army of the Welsh republic and other members in here that I can see but I can’t tell you who they are that have served time.
“Do you think we are arseing about down here? No.”
Members of the fringe and tiny paramilitary organisation the Free Wales Army were jailed for their activities in the 1960s.
Welsh Labour AM Ken Skates said: “I’m not a royalist, but it is frankly bizarre to see Leanne Wood swearing an oath of allegiance to this group and taking part in such a strange ceremony. Most worryingly of all it highlights a serious lack of political judgement on her part to share a stage with individuals who hold such extreme political views.
“Leanne Wood needs to decide whether she wants to spend her time in backstreet pubs pretending to be a radical political freedom fighter or take up the role she was elected to perform as the leader of a mainstream Welsh political party.
“Plaid Cymru and its leadership are at a crossroads: either they are a serious party focused on solving the big challenges we have to face in Wales or they are content to play gesture politics with radical fringe groups.”
A senior Welsh Conservative source said: “If a senior politician allows themselves to be in a small room with guest speakers who boast about violent and criminal separatist pasts, their judgement must be called into question.
“That this event was so small reinforces just how few people hold such views.
“Whatever her own thoughts on extremism, it’s clear from this video that independence and separatism are the main aims of Plaid’s leader, and always have been.”
Last night, after the Western Mail contacted Plaid Cymru but before this story was published, the video was taken down from the public section of YouTube.
A Plaid Cymru spokeswoman said: “Leanne and Bethan attended this event in good faith. Unfortunately a handful of individuals appear to have used the event to express views which we find abhorrent and from which we distance ourselves completely.”
Plaid also pointed out that its director of elections Ian Titherington had attended the same event, writing on his blog at the time: “There were poets, pints, politicians and pontificators and it was an interesting general debate on the differing versions of Republicanism that people had.
“I found some of the poetry particularly entertaining and was pleased to see several friends from Plaid and other parties there, but was a little depressed by a handful of individuals who took it upon themselves to use the event for an anti-English rant that sounded straight out of the 1960s. Surely we have moved on from blaming England for all our woes, especially now that we have a Parliament that we have responsibility for.”

TIME TO QUIT PLAID CYMRU FROM ABOVE IT IS CLEAR THAT LEANNE DOES NOT WANT NATIONALISTS ONLY GREENS! So TRUE WELSH REPUBLICANS DITCH PLAID ASAP AS YOU HAVE A LOT OF CATCHING UP TO DO NOT LEAST REGARDS BELOW AND ON ALL OTHER ENGLISH CROWN ESTATES AND NOT LEAST A FULL ON YEAR OF 1953 - 2013 50th ANNIVERSARY CAMPAIGNING AGAINST THE ENGLISH CROWN, YES?
