I have given Rali Cilmeri the heave ho but stick with Glyndwr but having more interest in what followed with the Gwerin Owain and Bandit Rebels, an underclass that continued in an anti - colonial struggle, though some were fooled by the Tudor pretender 'Mab Darogan' propagandists to go and follow the 'Tudor Rag' to fight at Bosworth to assist he who would then ditch the name 'Tudor' in favor of 'Richmond'. Perhaps those who signed the offensive petition might now like to start up another stupid petition recognising Monmouth born Henry V as more of a true Prince of Wales than Owain Glyndwr and, whilst at it, they may want to ask WAG to recognize the Azincourt Anniversary and provide Monmouth Town Council with more money to organise year long Events and Activities. So, who amongst you Nats and Pats are going to organise that Petition rather than serious protests in 2015 - and I do not mean on fb but actually IN Monmouth town and possibly Llantrisant and other associated locations? Whatever, Mab Drogan's aside, we have no need really to wait for any Mab Darogan or political leaders of any colour, as from time of 'Y Gwerin Owain' the people have proved capable of arising and leading their own struggles. By the 15th Century 'Y Gwerin Owain' were making way for the people of the Pitchfork who would lead popular Resistance for centuries, in time by the 19th century be more and more led by the organised working class until in our own times such has been very much negated by state oppression and crass consumerism and making of working class youth very much a colonial underclass being demonized by the media as drug taking binge drinkers which unfortunately will be the future for much of our youth of post Industrial Wales. So what can be done? Well for one, I think it will begin perhaps in great earnest when we emphasize more peoples and workers struggle and not so much the Princes of medieval Cymru. In this way we might see developed and advance a far truer Welsh Republicanism than such that between WRM I and today which is for most part the Neo Nationalist Republicanism of such as now defunct Cymru Rydd and Balchder Cymru. A start in this direction might be better made by focusing more on Iolo Morgannwg than Llywelyn III at Cilmeri?
