2012 Will be LIZ II Diamond Jubilee and the powers that be have given us an extra day holiday to make of 2 - 4 June 2012 an long Holiday Weekend for celebrating her D.J. I suggest, No! I propose that all Anti - Monarchists in Wales start getting their act together to use this long 'Holiday' weekend for all Wales Anti - Monarchy Agit - Prop Action in as many Communities as possible. Not least Major Republican Parties/Picnics in the parks, perhaps major regional festivals in the parks or countryside over this long holiday weekend. Take the kids away from D.J., Street Parties on outings to the countryside to visit historic sites or museums, even organise your own local alternative Community street parties and events, think on it. Plenty of time to plan and prepare Welsh Republican Resurgence Against the Diamond Jubilee celebrations. I can see the Brits going a bunch on this, so get your act together with Republicans Against Monarchy Black Flag and Poster/Sticker Campaigns as in 1977, a good year for Welsh Republican Activism! Plus of course Anti - Jubilee T-Shirts and other Republican Souvenirs. Don't forget Bastille Day Parties! Over a year to organise, go for it!

On 19th October 1953 Welsh Republicans made a bomb attack on the Fron Aqueduct carrying pipeline to Birmingham from the Elan Valley. I can find no info on any commemoration in 2013 of this 1953 Coronation but I suggest a Republican day out in the Elan Valley in October 2013 to mark anniversary of the opening of the Claerwen dam.
